Kelas itu merupakan kelas penulisan naskah (untuk media elektronik --televisi dan radio). Gaya (style) pembawaan berita, penulisan naskah, dan peliputan media elektronik kita (Indonesia) memang cukup berbeda dibanding dengan pembawaan berita, penulisan naskah, dan peliputan media elektronik Barat (Amerika, Inggris, Australia, dan sebagainya). Inti perbedaannya terletak pada fleksibilitas. Gaya pembawaan berita, penulisan naskah, dan peliputan kita masih relatif kaku. Penggunaan kata-kata baku yang sangat berjenjang dengan penggunaan bahasa kita sehari-hari, intonasi yang datar terkesan tak ramah dan "berjarak", dan variasi gambar yang, maaf, kurang. Sedangkan, gaya pembawaan berita, penulisan naskah, dan peliputan Fox News Channel, BBC, CNN, ABC, menurut saya, lebih ramah dan santai.
